    Puerto Aventuras is located minutes from the most famous cenote/cave system in the world. Behold the splendor and magnificence of this unimaginable underground world.

   Cenotes are caves that flooded after the ice age when the water level rose. They are filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and crystal clear water. Although they are an overhead environment, cavern dives always stay within the limits of natural sunlight and are limited to groups of 4 divers with a guide. You need only be certified as an Open Water Diver to cenote dive and experience the beauty. Our experienced team of Cave divers can lead cave diving tours to those with cave diving certification.
